Aleksandra E. Fremderman

Aleksandra E. Fremderman began her career as a solo practitioner after graduating from The John Marshall Law School, Chicago, Illinois. While at The John Marshall, Ms. Fremderman successfully represented her law school in various Moot Court Competitions, earning recognition and honor for her participation and winning in a prestigious national criminal law competition.
In November, 2007, Ms. Fremderman opened the Law Office of Aleksandra E. Fremderman, concentrating in the areas of real estate, family, traffic and criminal law. In October, 2008, Ms. Fremderman, along with her current partner Alex Pirogovsky, formed Pirogovsky Fremderman, Ltd.
Ms. Fremderman concentrates her practice in the sale and/or purchase of real estate, complicated short sale transactions and prosecuting and defending mortgage foreclosure matters. Ms. Fremderman also represents individuals and corporate entities in connection with prosecution and defense of various civil litigation matters, family, estate planning and personal injury matters.

Alex Pirogovsky
Founding Partner
Alex Pirogovsky has been in private practice since graduating from Washington University School of Law, St. Louis, in 1998. Practicing at both Schwartz, Cooper, Greenberger & Krauss, Chtd. and Ungaretti & Harris LLP, where he was a partner, Alex practiced in the fields of commercial litigation and bankruptcy through September 2007.
In 2007 Alex opened the Law Offices of Alex Pirogovsky, Ltd., and in October 2008, he and Aleksandra E. Fremderman founded Pirogovsky Fremderman, Ltd.
Alex concentrates his practice in representing individuals and corporations as both debtors and creditors in bankruptcy proceedings, prosecution and defense of civil litigation matters of all types on behalf of both individuals and businesses, mortgage foreclosures, collections, post-judgment proceedings and enforcement and also in family law issues.

Gerald J. Bekkerman

Gerald J. Bekkerman is a respected trial lawyer with a history of success representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases. Gerald began his career as an insurance defense lawyer, specializing in defending commercial and general liability injury cases. This early experience as a defense lawyer has given Gerald a unique perspective and now provides an advantage when pursuing cases against large corporations and insurance companies. It did not take Gerald long to realize that his true calling in the law was not working for insurance companies, but helping individuals, and their families, who have been injured through the negligence of others.
Since then, Gerald has achieved an impressive record helping to obtain millions of dollars for his clients in various personal injury cases. Gerald has won jury trials, arbitrations, and has successfully mediated complex personal injury cases other lawyers have turned down. Moreover, during his career, Gerald has shown his ability to act under pressure when taking on several high profile cases that garnered media attention while still giving his full focus to all of his clients. In every case, Gerald focuses on meeting the needs of his clients with compassion and diligence, while maintaining careful attention to the complex details of their cases.
Gerald is licensed to practice in Illinois state and federal courts. To serve his clients better, he also became licensed to practice in the Wisconsin state and federal courts. Gerald is also fluent in Russian and proficient in Spanish.
